Chikku Sapote Fruit Plant

Description

Native to Southern Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. Sapote fruits are highly distinctive. The flesh ranges in colour from pale yellow to earthy brown. It has a gritty texture similar to a pear. The flavour is extraordinarily sweet and malty. Each fruit is firm, glossy, and black, containing one to six seeds.
